Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the RCM function end to end across Medicaid and Medicare, covering eligibility/authorization through claims, denials, and collections.
  • •Lead RCM strategy including team building, KPI development and reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, product, and engineering.
  • •Run deep analysis on claims data to identify gaps, drive remediation with stakeholders, and improve collection rate and DSO.
  • •Manage patient billing and coinsurance collection processes, including denial management and appeals to reduce rejection/denial rates.
  • •Centralize eligibility verification, authorizations, payer reporting, manage payer relationships, partner on revenue reconciliation/cash application/collections reporting, and ensure compliance with Medicaid/Medicare billing requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience with end-to-end ownership from eligibility through denials and collections.
  • •Deep, hands-on knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing across the full revenue cycle, including FFS and other billing structures.
  • •Experience building and leading teams in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment.
  • •Strong analytical skills with ability to independently query and investigate claims data to drive collection improvements.
  • •Experience implementing RCM solutions such as Candid and Waystar.
