Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the Canada tax strategy and functional agenda, advising on tax implications of business changes, structures, and strategic initiatives.
  • •Manage and coordinate day-to-day tax activities across Canada business units, covering tax planning/research, compliance, and tax audit support.
  • •Ensure accurate and timely tax computations and remittance for statutory reporting (e.g., corporate income tax, GST).
  • •Maintain required documentation for tax computations, submissions, and tax/transfer pricing matters.
  • •Lead responses to local tax authority queries for audits/assessments and coordinate review and submission in line with the tax defense strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (preferably Business and/or Accounting).
  • •CPA or JD strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum 6 years experience in Canadian Tax in a multinational environment, with Big 4 tax experience a plus.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong analytical skills.
  • •ERP experience is a plus (SAP, MS Dynamics, Oracle).
