Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy to dealership and factory standards.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions, complete repairs, and notify the service advisor if additional work is not needed or if repairs can’t be finished within the promised time.
  • •Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts when required by warranty or customer request.
  • •Examine vehicles for additional safety or service work, road-test when required, and document all work performed.
  • •Supervise assigned apprentice technicians, attend factory-sponsored training, keep up with technical bulletins, and maintain a clean and safe shop area.
