Key Responsibilities

  • •Specify, design, simulate, verify, qualify, and define production screens for SI/PI aspects of advanced satellite hardware.
  • •Design SI/PI for wireline and electro-optical communication systems and high-speed memory interfaces (including PDNs for associated ASICs).
  • •Work cross-functionally with RF, antenna, ASIC, packaging, mechanical, thermal, software, supply chain, and production engineers to architect new products.
  • •Derive PCB material and channel subcomponent specifications, design transition structures, and drive component selection aligned with PDN designs.
  • •Root cause and fix SI/PI issues found in PCB manufacturing, PCBA test, or satellite integration; define SI/PI best practices, workflows, signoff criteria, and lab equipment needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
  • •5+ years of industry experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware.
  • •2+ years using 3D EM simulation tools and high-speed digital channel simulators (e.g., CST, HFSS, ADS).
  • •2+ years of research or industry experience with high-speed digital design or power integrity.
  • •Ability to work in highly cross-functional roles and drive SI/PI processes, verification, and debugging.
