Job Summary

Under strict supervision, support rig operations by learning fluid performance concepts, separation, and waste management technologies. Complete training in fluids chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculations, and routine/specialized testing while assisting with preparation and tracking of palletized and bulk products and equipment spares. Help interpret test results to provide technical solutions, assist with separation and waste equipment operation, and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations as a Halliburton representative.

Key Responsibilities

•Work directly with fluids and equipment supervisors and technical professionals to learn rig operations, company products/services, and fluid performance technologies.
•Complete a formal training program covering fluids chemistry, testing, and separation equipment theory and application.
•Learn to operate, maintain, and optimize Baroid equipment including testing, separation, and waste management equipment.
•Prepare and track inventory of palletized and bulk products and equipment spares at the rig site based on the drilling program and anticipated conditions.
•Assist with interpreting test results and operating separation and waste management equipment to support technical solutions and fluid performance.

Key Requirements

•No previous work experience is required.
•Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or other related Bachelor’s Degree program is required.
•This is an entry level position.
•Ability to work under strict supervision and coordinate with fluids and equipment supervisors and technical professionals.
•Ability to comply with health, safety and environment regulations in all aspects of job performance.
