Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the day-to-day activities, priorities, and performance of the EHS Safety Engineering team, including performance management and hiring.
  • •Oversee operational budgets for Safety Engineering programs across Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Equipment Safety, and Process Safety.
  • •Develop engineering-based solutions to improve workplace safety, reduce incidents and exposure rates, and advance the EHS program.
  • •Review and interpret safety rules, regulations, and standards, and provide clear technical guidance to management and engineering teams.
  • •Conduct safety engineering reviews and compliance audits (risk assessments, surveys, ergonomic evaluations, equipment safety reviews, process safety analyses) and lead safety-in-design requirements across the equipment lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years of experience designing, developing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs with an emphasis on safety engineering disciplines.
  • •3+ years leadership experience managing technical/engineering teams.
  • •Strong ability to interpret and document occupational safety and health regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, RIA, etc.).
  • •Hands-on experience with industrial hygiene monitoring/control, ergonomic risk assessment, equipment safety/systems guarding, and process hazard analysis (PHA/HAZOP).
