Build and scale OpenAI’s Support Engineering team for strategic enterprise Ads accounts, providing 24x7 technical coverage and acting as the last line of defense before core Engineering. Lead troubleshooting of complex customer integrations and production issues, partner cross-functionally to improve systems and processes, and turn support learnings into scalable solutions that influence product roadmaps and overall customer reliability.

•Build and lead a team of technical and troubleshooting experts; serve as the last line of defense before the core Engineering team.
•Partner with engineering and customer teams to build systems that resolve escalated issues, coordinating resources across multiple teams.
•Operationalize learnings from customer issue resolution at scale by iterating on internal processes with Engineering/Go-To-Market/vendor partners and improving customer experience.
•Manage scaling and operations to deliver 24x7 global coverage, including holidays and weekends based on business needs.
•Build strong customer relationships to ensure application success and support broadly beyond the team’s core remit.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 234,000 - 260,000 annually

•10+ years of experience leading technical support engineering or software engineering teams in high-scale, fast-paced environments.
•15+ years of experience in technical support engineering or software engineering.
•Experience leading highly skilled engineering teams and empowering senior individual contributors while setting clear technical and operational direction.
•Ability to take an automation-first approach, implementing tooling or processes that scale support impact through AI and systems thinking.
