Job Summary

Design, integrate, and optimize complex systems for semiconductor equipment applications. You will contribute to system engineering specifications within your technical expertise, coordinate testing and troubleshooting, support system integration, and ensure hardware/software designs meet requirements for reliability, safety, maintainability, and documented interfaces. Work with cross-functional teams across product engineering, physics, algorithms, and software to improve ongoing designs and validate architectures.

Key Responsibilities

•Support systems engineering projects with cross-disciplinary design considerations across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software.
•Develop and contribute to system engineering specifications, including portions tied to your technical expertise.
•Coordinate tests and relay results/feedback to product engineering, physics, algorithms, and software teams for new and ongoing improvements.
•Troubleshoot moderately difficult technical issues, including serviceability and manufacturability considerations.
•Support system integration during assembly and final testing, and help define/document external equipment interfaces.

Travel: Low travel

•Support system engineering projects with a mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design while understanding system implications.
•Contribute to system engineering specifications within your technical field of expertise, including writing specification sections.
•Perform and coordinate tests and provide feedback to product engineering, physics, algorithms, and software on new designs and improvements.
•Identify and troubleshoot moderately difficult engineering problems in your technical field, including serviceability and manufacturability.
•Assist in defining external equipment interfaces and help ensure architectures are up to date and documented.
