Job Summary

Ensure WA Parish Generating Station meets environmental laws, regulations, and corporate environmental requirements. Support air quality compliance, Title V permitting, NSR permit applications, and compliance certifications; maintain environmental databases and prepare regulatory filings. Coordinate data collection and environmental reporting using CEMS data, support inspections and audits, respond to environmental system upsets, and assist with testing programs, SPCC/Storm Water, and other special environmental projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Support environmental compliance activities including air quality data analysis and reporting, Title V permitting, and NSR permit applications and renewals.
•Update environmental databases and prepare regulatory filings; coordinate environmental reporting data collection, review, and submission.
•Coordinate with plant personnel and support air, solid waste, and wastewater inspections and internal third-party compliance audits.
•Respond to environmental system upsets and monitoring system breakdowns using field data collection and situation analysis.
•Coordinate testing programs and provide environmental support for facility operations, including technical assistance, training, Management of Change, and recordkeeping.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related science or engineering discipline from an accredited university or a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant environmental experience.
•Provide support for environmental compliance activities including air quality data analysis and reporting, Title V permitting, and NSR permit applications and renewals.
•Coordinate and/or participate in the collection, review, and submittal of data to support environmental reporting programs, including CEMS-related data.
•Maintain working knowledge of solid waste and wastewater regulatory requirements, including TPDES permit renewal activities and implementation of SPCC and Storm Water programs.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license.
