Support and optimize assembly operations by troubleshooting issues on the manufacturing floor and improving safety, quality, and productivity. •Provide daily engineering support to assembly operations and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
•Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing documents such as work instructions, standardized work, PFMEAs, and assembly procedures.
•Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and delivery using Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, time studies, and line balancing.
•Design, specify, and implement assembly fixtures, tooling, and workstations; collaborate with maintenance on reliability and uptime improvements.
•Lead manufacturing-related projects from concept through implementation, coordinating with production, quality, maintenance, purchasing, and suppliers; support new product introductions and engineering changes.
