Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, including OSHA and other guidelines.
  • •Create and implement safety SOPs and oversee safety committee participation and employee training and documentation.
  • •Direct, evaluate, schedule, and coordinate equipment and personnel for daily nonferrous operations, including processing and shipping activities.
  • •Manage inventory and quality control for incoming NF material, including time and weight analysis, scale ticket validation, and WIP inventory control.
  • •Support budgeting and forecasting through accurate inventory reporting and monthly physical inventory audits; recommend process improvements to increase quality and profitability.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 3 years of metal recycling industry experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • •Thorough knowledge of NF materials grading and strong judgment.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with supervisory staff, commercial operations, peers, and subordinates.
  • •Past supervisory experience and the ability to negotiate, with good organizational skills.
