Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, loaders, and other equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • •Inspect machinery for leaks, wear, and potential issues, and report findings to the shop lead.
  • •After training, conduct certified brake inspections (including air brakes) within six months of hire.
  • •Document maintenance activities and manage inventory for filters, oils, and supplies using a computer for accurate recordkeeping.
  • •Assist with minor mechanical repairs and support shop/property upkeep, while working overtime and traveling to job sites as required.
