Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Commissioning Manager and support the Principal Commissioning Engineer with preparation of home office deliverables.
  • •Participate on site in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument components.
  • •Support commissioning activities such as manuals development, commissioning and start-up spares, first fills and consumables, commissioning/start-up procedures, and equipment system checks and tests.
  • •Participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing; resolve operational and maintenance issues during these activities.
  • •Supervise craft personnel for site pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and coordinate with engineers within the commissioning team and the client.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • •8-15 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility.
  • •Prefer 2+ years of previous commissioning and start-up experience in the chemical, refinery, or oil & gas industry.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; able to effectively communicate technical solutions to engineers and non-engineers.
