Key Responsibilities

•Administer, maintain, and optimize NetScout nGeniusONE, nGeniusPULSE, InfiniStream, and associated performance monitoring infrastructure across multiple security domains.
•Provide day-to-day Linux administration (CentOS/RHEL/Oracle Linux): troubleshoot system issues, analyze logs, monitor CPU/memory/disk, and automate tasks and backups with Bash/shell scripting.
•Plan and execute server migrations and OS upgrades (including CentOS 7 to Oracle Linux 9), including compatibility assessments and post-migration validation.
•Configure service monitors, dashboards, alert thresholds, and reporting; establish KPIs, service-level metrics, baselines, and produce daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for leadership.
•Investigate performance degradations using NetScout packet/service-level data, correlate findings with ServiceNow incidents/problems/changes, and support incident response with teams across Network Operations, Service Management, Cybersecurity, and Service Desk.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (additional 4 years of experience may substitute).
•Minimum active Secret security clearance.
•Active Security+ (or higher) at time of hire; also have one or more relevant networking/observability/monitoring/service management certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, ITIL Foundation, Splunk, Dynatrace, ThousandEyes, SolarWinds).
•5+ years supporting enterprise monitoring, network operations, observability platforms, performance engineering, or enterprise network environments.
•Experience administering enterprise monitoring/observability platforms and performing performance analysis and reporting/visualization (e.g., NetScout, Splunk, ThousandEyes, Dynatrace, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
