Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently evaluate, structure, and underwrite complex credit requests including asset-based lending, term loans, commercial real estate loans, and bridge loans.
  • •Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing credit requests, including analysis of financial statements and projections.
  • •Model income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow over multiple years and conduct downside and break-even projections with limited input.
  • •Recommend credit actions by preparing the Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) and ensure consistency between LOIs and loan documents.
  • •Monitor assigned credit relationships for covenant compliance, collateral monitoring, credit deterioration, and maintain correct borrower Risk Rating identification under bank policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Underwriting experience in asset-based lending, including valuation, asset management, and financial analysis.
  • •Knowledge of and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations, including laws listed such as Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •Strong working knowledge of the bank’s loan policies and standards and ability to understand complex loan documentation and collateral perfection.
