Job Summary

Case Manager – Personal Injury in Brisbane responsible for managing a CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation. Key Responsibilities

•Manage your own CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation
•Build effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, rehabilitation advisors and medical professionals, to drive successful rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
•Assess claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements
•Assess and manage injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding CTP benefits, treatment and rehabilitation and interpret medical reports
•Review treatment requests and organise investigations into claims with a focus on proactive claims management
•Make settlement offers, attend informal and settlement conferences to progress claims towards finalisation

Key Requirements

•Proven para-legal or personal injury experience is preferred
•Insurance claims experience (preferably in CTP/Personal Injury) and qualifications in Law, Insurance, Medical, Allied Health, or related fields
•Ability to interpret and apply legislation, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to simplify technical terms for customers
•Genuine customer-focused approach with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
•Capability to manage a target-driven caseload, perform effectively under high-pressure conditions, and meet deadlines
