Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items, including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, and maintain accurate records of monetary instrument sales.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services while following account-protection limits and bank policies/procedures.
  • •Balance vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as needed and complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a high school diploma or GED and mental alertness to perform daily teller routines.
  • •0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to inquiries in person or by telephone.
  • •Basic math skills, including adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing, and proficiency with 10-key.
  • •Cash handling experience in a business environment and the ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude and appearance.
