Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and service ammonia refrigeration systems and related plant utilities including boilers, air compressors, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • •Document daily repair activities and potential problems, and maintain required paperwork associated with the PSM program.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, boilers, air compressors, valves, and related equipment.
  • •Communicate with maintenance management and fellow workers to provide production-related information.
  • •Follow all safety guidelines using required PPE, keep the work area orderly, and support weekend and/or additional shift work as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of verifiable ammonia refrigeration experience.
  • •RETA certification or equivalent technical training (preferred).
  • •Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • •Ability to use tools/equipment to maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related utilities.
  • •Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics and blueprints for plant ammonia systems; must be willing to acquire Hazmat Responder certification (HAZWOPER training and certification).
