Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of diversified sub-assembly and light to heavy-duty assembly operations on the switchgear product line.
  • •Use bill of materials and prints to fit and align components and complete repetitive assembly tasks.
  • •Run key processes including hi-pot and functional testing, epoxy injection molding equipment operations, and clean room operations.
  • •Follow working procedures, complete paperwork, enter labor, confirm production, and move products to outgoing materials zones.
  • •Screen defective parts, make adjustments as necessary, report concerns to team leaders or supervisors, and assist QA/engineering with problem-solving when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 6 months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.
  • •Ability to follow established working procedures and set up a workstation for independent or group assembly.
  • •Must be able to read blueprints and drawings and use bill of materials and prints as necessary.
  • •Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours and lift, push, and pull up to 48 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
