Job Summary

We are seeking a Staff macOS/iOS Developer to design and build high-performance Mac and iOS apps that serve as gateways to Zscaler’s cloud security platform. You’ll collaborate with product teams, ensure peak performance and quality, uphold engineering standards, and act as a technical escalation point while shipping cross-platform client applications for a global user base in a Hybrid San Jose, CA environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop high-performance Mac and iOS applications and frameworks that serve as the gateway to our global cloud security platform
•Partner with product managers to translate complex requirements and design mockups into clean, high-quality code
•Take accountability for the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications to ensure a seamless user experience
•Uphold and evolve engineering excellence by maintaining rigorous code quality, standards, and automation practices
•Act as a technical point of escalation to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues with speed and precision

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,500 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Objective C, SWIFT, or C++
•Deep technical understanding of the Mac networking stack, networking protocols, and modern architectural design patterns
•Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning
•Extensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the standard libraries used for common engineering tasks
•Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions
