Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the data platform end to end across ingestion, storage, transformation, cataloging, governance, and access for research and production.
  • •Build reliable pipelines for large heterogeneous datasets, handling schema changes, late data, revisions, backfills, and vendor failures.
  • •Guarantee research-grade correctness using point-in-time data, lineage, versioning, and reproducibility while preventing look-ahead and survivorship bias.
  • •Create trusted data products by normalizing identifiers, timestamps, corporate actions, reference data, and unstructured sources into accessible datasets and APIs.
  • •Enable AI-native systems by building permission-aware interfaces, metadata, datasets, and benchmarks for researchers and agents.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Exceptional software and data engineering skills, including strong Python and SQL, plus distributed processing experience and modern data infrastructure.
  • •Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, operate, and improve business-critical data systems at scale.
  • •Expertise in temporal data, including revisions, event time vs knowledge time, reproducibility, and point-in-time querying.
