•Maintain and promote Tyson’s Safety culture.
•Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to keep machinery running for continuous production.
•Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery as needed.
•Train maintenance technicians on equipment.
•Order parts and follow up on outstanding purchase orders; fill in for absenteeism or assist other plant areas.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 1 year of documented mechanic work experience in the application/resume history.
•Graduate of an industrial maintenance training program, or training beyond high school in an associate or technical field.

•Preferred experience in welding, electrical, and hydraulics.
•Must complete all required job training and be able to meet physical requirements (lift 70 lbs periodically; work on feet up to 12 hours).
