Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and personnel development for a team of 6 colleagues.
  • •Develop, ensure, and optimize finance-area processes across accounting, financial accounting, (project) controlling, and budget/planning.
  • •Own liquidity planning and steering.
  • •Monitor and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS and regularly recurring statistics and reporting.
  • •Lead the finance component of customer offers, including offer review and release process; report to Jena-Optronik management and Airbus leadership and support Airbus transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting and/or controlling.
  • •Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position with strong knowledge of corporate controlling and financial analysis.
  • •Expert knowledge in commercial and tax law (Handels- und Steuerrecht).
  • •Experience managing personnel.
  • •Strong analytical skills and proven expertise in digitizing finance processes.
