Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the approval-rate and loss-rate tradeoff by setting policy, defending it, and being accountable for both metrics.
  • •Work with data science to productize risk models into decisioning products with thresholds, monitoring, and failure behavior.
  • •Partner with finance to build loss economics views at the portfolio and merchant level and translate them into pricing and policy recommendations.
  • •Ship merchant-facing risk product with decisioning transparency, controls, and reporting to reduce support load and increase trust.
  • •Evaluate and integrate risk infrastructure by assessing signal providers, data sources, and decisioning vendors across coverage, accuracy, cost, and fit.

  • •7+ years of product management experience owning a technically complex or regulated surface area.
  • •Experience with products where wrong decisions cost the company money (e.g., lending, BNPL, issuing, insurance, risk, or payments).
  • •Fluency with loss economics, including expected loss and how policy changes move revenue and exposure.
  • •Experience productizing models and understanding precision/recall tradeoffs and production failure behavior.
  • •Track record shipping end-to-end from ambiguous problem to production without a roadmap handed to you.
