Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle pre- and post-contract quantity surveying, including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  • •Develop feasibility studies, procurement reports, and produce/present final cost plans.
  • •Support tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tender list preparation, tender preliminaries, analysis, tender reporting, and contractual document compilation.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variances through change control, including valuations, extension of time claims (where applicable), and timely cost checks.
  • •Produce monthly post-contract cost reports, negotiate and agree final accounts, and interface with clients and other consultants across project stages; lead the cost management team where needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in a related subject or equivalent education.
  • •15+ years of relevant work experience, ideally within a consultancy, with detailed knowledge of the Real Estate/Infrastructure sector.
  • •Professional membership (e.g., MRICS).
  • •Excellent measurement capability for infrastructure/building works and strong understanding of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management/engineering).
  • •Excellent written and spoken English, with experience presenting confidently to clients and stakeholders; ability to manage teams of 5–10.
