Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and update hydraulic models of municipal sanitary, stormwater, and combined sewer systems using InfoWorks ICM.
  • •Build and calibrate sewer network models using flow monitoring, rainfall records, SCADA data, asset inventories, and operational datasets.
  • •Perform hydraulic capacity assessments and evaluate sewer system performance across existing and future growth scenarios, including climate resilience.
  • •Conduct inflow and infiltration (I&I) investigations and support rehabilitation and optimization strategy development.
  • •Prepare modelling methodologies, QA/QC procedures, calibration reports, and technical deliverables (English and Spanish), and mentor junior modelling staff.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • •At least 4 years of professional experience in municipal sewer system modelling and hydraulic analysis.
  • •Advanced proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, including model development, calibration, validation, and scenario analysis.
  • •Demonstrated experience calibrating hydraulic models using monitored flow and rainfall data, including wet weather flow and RDII modelling (RTK parameter development).
