Job Summary

Support the Senior Powerplant Manager in safeguarding the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of Wizz Air’s engine and APU fleet. Help manage maintenance planning and shop visit coordination, maintain configuration control and technical records, and monitor powerplant condition. Collaborate with OEMs, repair shops, and internal stakeholders on tenders, reliability programs, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and ensuring compliance with safety management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Senior Powerplant Manager in managing safety, reliability, technical performance, and cost of ownership for engines and APUs.
•Follow up on maintenance requirements (e.g., AD, SB, LLPs) and configuration control.
•Develop, revise, and follow up on the Powerplant/APU Maintenance Plan and coordinate shop visits.
•Manage maintenance reserves and administer warranty claims.
•Develop, monitor, and revise the Powerplant/APU Reliability Program, including data collection, reporting, and data integrity across internal and third-party reports.

Key Requirements

•Support the Senior Powerplant Manager in maintaining the safety, reliability, technical performance, and cost of ownership of engines and APUs.
•Follow up on powerplant/APU maintenance requirements (AD, SB, LLPs) and configuration control.
•Develop, revise, and follow up on the Powerplant/APU Maintenance Plan and coordinate shop visits.
•Use strong engineering judgment to manage maintenance reserves, warranty claims, reliability program data collection, and troubleshooting support.
•Have 3–5+ years of overall experience, with a recognized aircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalent and a degree in Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
