Lead and manage large EPFC/oil & gas projects from inception to completion, directing Project and Discipline Managers to ensure financial and technical success. Maintain strong client relationships to secure future work, apply risk, change, and cost management, and drive digital transformation in project execution to optimize margins and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage large complex EPFC projects that may have multiple Project Managers or Alliance project programs
•Manage projects with a total installed cost typically exceeding $500 Million USD, from inception to project completion
•Act as McDermott’s principal representative, responsible for all matters pertaining to the project and project execution in accordance with the contract, the Project’s Execution Plan, and the project’s HSE, project security, quality, schedule, and financial goals
•Accountable to McDermott Management and the client for McDermott team performance
•Hold authority to direct the Project Team within the bounds of McDermott Policy and have access to Senior Management for resolution of project issues and conflicts

Key Requirements

•15+ years in the oil and gas industry with at least 10 years as a project manager
•Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
•Willingness to support projects in remote and/or difficult locations
•Strong project management experience on large EPIC projects with knowledge of marine construction
•Ability to develop project execution strategy, profit plan, and communicate contract requirements to the project team
