Job Summary

Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic hammer equipment and power packs, and ensure all required items are available onboard the barge. Train and develop the crew, oversee setup and connectivity (hoses and umbilical cables), and keep detailed logs of mobilization and equipment condition before/after piling. Coordinate with site stakeholders and maintain compliance with company codes and HSE standards, including safe emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

•Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic hammers and power packs/equipment.
•Report hammer job details and activities to the barge foreman, barge superintendent, and field engineer.
•Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare items/equipment and ensure all required hammer accessories are available onboard.
•Ensure correct setup of the hammers, with hoses connected and umbilical cables ready for use.
•Supervise dismantling/demobilization during idle periods, keep documented logs, coordinate inspections with the chief mechanic, and ensure compliance with HSE standards including emergency safety actions.

Key Requirements

•High school or equivalent.
•6 years’ experience as Hydraulic Hammer Operator.
•Good English language skills.
•Proven supervisory skills with strong communication.
•Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
