Key Responsibilities

  • •Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic hammers and power packs/equipment.
  • •Report hammer job details and activities to the barge foreman, barge superintendent, and field engineer.
  • •Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare items/equipment and ensure all required hammer accessories are available onboard.
  • •Ensure correct setup of the hammers, with hoses connected and umbilical cables ready for use.
  • •Supervise dismantling/demobilization during idle periods, keep documented logs, coordinate inspections with the chief mechanic, and ensure compliance with HSE standards including emergency safety actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school or equivalent.
  • •6 years’ experience as Hydraulic Hammer Operator.
  • •Good English language skills.
  • •Proven supervisory skills with strong communication.
  • •Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
