Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Manager IA/Principal Auditor by carrying out parts of internal audits for assigned assignments while meeting professional standards.
  • •Implement day-to-day internal audit activities and support compliance with departmental policies, processes, procedures, and EGA audit methodology.
  • •Participate in risk assessments for assigned areas and support determining the audit approach, including risk analysis and process mapping.
  • •Perform internal control testing, identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities, and assess the adequacy of internal controls.
  • •Prepare work papers and draft observations for review, support recommendations with implementation deadlines, and follow up on recommendation status; assist with ad-hoc reviews including fraud investigations as directed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Engineering and working towards a professional qualification (e.g., CPA/CIMA/CMA/CA) from a recognised international accounting institute.
  • •Audit-related professional qualification such as CIA or CISA.
  • •Minimum 3–6 years internal audit and/or relevant business process experience in a large manufacturing company or with Big4 audit firms.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of IIA Standards on Professional Practice and Code of Ethics.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of corporate/IT governance, risk and internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO, ERM, COBIT) and the ability to identify fraud red flags.
