Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute commodity strategies for batteries to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase supply chain resilience.
  • •Lead sourcing and procurement processes for batteries, including RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing.
  • •Manage external contract manufacturing relationships to ensure continuity of supply, perform risk management, and negotiate costs and agreements.
  • •Analyze supplier quotes and supply-chain components using detailed cost breakdowns and TCO to make data-driven decisions.
  • •Drive supplier performance management and escalation across delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics while partnering with Engineering on design specs and requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of batteries manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering.
  • •Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
