Job Summary

Own battery commodity sourcing for Anduril’s high-voltage systems—developing supplier strategies, leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, and managing end-to-end delivery of quality parts at the right cost. Partner with Engineering and contract manufacturers to influence technical design specs, drive continuity of supply, and lead risk management, cost negotiations, and supplier performance. Direct technology reviews and manage commercial agreements, delivery/quality metrics, and escalations across the battery lifecycle.

•Develop and execute commodity strategies for batteries to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase supply chain resilience.
•Lead sourcing and procurement processes for batteries, including RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing.
•Manage external contract manufacturing relationships to ensure continuity of supply, perform risk management, and negotiate costs and agreements.
•Analyze supplier quotes and supply-chain components using detailed cost breakdowns and TCO to make data-driven decisions.
•Drive supplier performance management and escalation across delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics while partnering with Engineering on design specs and requirements.

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
•10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of batteries manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering.
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
•Ability to relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
