Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete a 6-month MIT Operations program based in a distribution warehouse with guidance, support, and resources.
  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across the distribution center, including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe and learn from experienced employees and shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail customers to understand the business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems at the EDGEucation Center.
  • •Give a comprehensive presentation to senior management for completion of the program, plus perform other assigned duties and special projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role; alternatively, distribution/supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven, self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team with rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program (company expense), and to travel 25% of the time; ability to maneuver equipment and lift up to 75 pounds.
