Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise detailed maintenance, inspection, and fault rectification activities on mechanical components in the AGE bay using approved technical information.
  • •Perform and complete maintenance and diagnostic tasks for mechanical components, including removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, replacements, and functional/system test.
  • •Maintain task authorisation for working on AGE and components in accordance with regulatory requirements and AMC requirements; ensure staff are sufficiently competent and approved.
  • •Ensure timely supervision of all maintenance activities and associated Technical Instructions for Mechanical Aircraft Ground Equipment, meeting delivery targets and reporting progress.
  • •Provide guidance and leadership to the team, support training requests and on-the-job training, and ensure Part 145 activities are documented with airworthiness records maintained.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a minimum of 2 years working at Supervisor level prior to undertaking this role.
  • •Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or Military equivalent apprenticeship/qualifications.
  • •Minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • •Experienced and competent leader at this level with breadth of experience, currency, and recency capturing skills/knowledge/authorities.
  • •Practical expertise applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, including knowledge of Expositions, Functionally Mandated Procedures, and Management training.
