Job Summary

Design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare data platforms on Microsoft Azure. Own end-to-end data architecture across ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and analytics, including migration from legacy systems. Lead Azure Data Engineering using Databricks, ETL/ELT pipelines, Lakehouse/Data Lake architectures, and batch/real-time processing. Define enterprise data quality frameworks and controls, ensure healthcare compliance, and provide technical leadership through architecture reviews and workshops.

Key Responsibilities

•Design enterprise-scale healthcare data platforms on Microsoft Azure, architecting scalable, secure, high-performing cloud-native solutions.
•Define end-to-end architecture for ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and analytics; lead modernization and migration of legacy healthcare data systems to Azure.
•Build large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and implement batch and real-time data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
•Establish enterprise data quality frameworks and DQ controls (completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, reconciliation) with automated validation and monitoring.
•Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders and engineering teams; lead architecture reviews/workshops and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on Azure Data Platform experience and expertise in data architecture for enterprise healthcare platforms.
•10+ years of IT experience focused on Data Engineering and Cloud Architecture, including designing ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data processing.
•Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
•Experience implementing enterprise Data Quality (DQ) frameworks, including validation, reconciliation, profiling, monitoring, and lineage/metadata governance.
•Healthcare domain experience with EMR/EHR, claims, patient/provider/clinical data, plus familiarity with healthcare compliance and data privacy standards.
