Drive technical pre-sales success by partnering with Account Executives to develop customer engagement strategies in your designated territory. Serve as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Influence stakeholders and C-level executives, coach junior Solutions Architects, and lead customer-facing workshops, seminars, and meet-ups while delivering complex proofs of concept using public cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executive(s) in your designated territory.
•Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
•Operate as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
•Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
•Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

Key Requirements

•Know how to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
•Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
•Prior experience coding in a core programming language (Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
•Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
•Know how to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
