Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform equipment receipt, uncrate, clean, strip, and tear down units.
  • •Inspect, repair, service, test, and package units according to policies, quality standards, and Safety guidelines.
  • •Set up and operate test stands and related equipment; set up and balance rotating equipment using approved balancing methods.
  • •Work from drawings, parts lists, blueprints, charts, and graphs to evaluate and assist in estimating repair costs, time, and materials/parts.
  • •Record test results, follow the quality plan, diagnose and correct mechanical functions through adjustments, and assist with supply/tool/parts replenishment needs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or equivalent with relevant experience in manual repair/workshop/manufacturing environments (typically 3 years).
  • •Experience operating forklift trucks, hand pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
  • •Ability to understand complicated blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
  • •Ability to use micrometers and gauges in both English and Metric measures, with strong mechanical aptitude.
  • •Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical problems; welding knowledge and vibration analyzing/balancing equipment experience are a plus.
