Review residential and non-complex commercial appraisals for conventional transactions within the Commercial Real Estate Technical Services (CRETS) department. Perform thorough desk and collateral reviews, analyze and interpret valuation results, validate data using public records and/or MLS, and ensure work aligns with USPAP and bank policies. Explain policies and procedures to internal and external partners while maintaining high-volume production service levels with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete thorough desk reviews of appraisals to determine compliance with company and investor guidelines.
•Perform collateral reviews of semi-complex residential and non-complex commercial properties.
•Analyze, interpret, evaluate, and explain appraisal or valuation assignment results.
•Verify and support appraisal data and opinions using external research such as public records and/or MLS data.
•Ensure consistency with USPAP, bank policies, and generally accepted appraisal standards, and explain policies to internal and external customers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree.
•5+ years as a licensed or trainee appraiser.
•Appraisal certification, license or assistance license.
•Ability to complete thorough desk and collateral appraisal reviews with attention to compliance and accuracy.
•Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
