Job Summary

Perform NDT inspections of welds and materials using RT, UT, MT, and PT per codes and contractual specifications; evaluate conformity and non-conformity flaws, report findings, and liaise with QC; execute examinations per approved NDT procedures and internationally recognized codes; determine acceptance or rejection based on criteria and coordinate rectification with the QC Inspector; contribute to subsea energy projects from Batam site.

Key Responsibilities

•Examine welds / materials by Radiography (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Dye Penetrant (PT) based on code and contractual specifications
•Determine conformity / non-conformity flaws and report accurately
•Perform NDT examination of welds and materials by RT/UT/PT/MT using project NDT plan, procedures, codes and contractual specifications
•Execute the examination by approved NDT procedures and internationally recognized codes/specs
•Determine acceptance / rejection based on defined criteria and liaise with QC Inspector to complete rectification work

Key Requirements

•Two plus (2+) years of Engineering Degree / High School Diploma
•Three plus (3+) years in Radiography or ultrasonic
•ASNT or CSWIP qualification
•Be occupationally qualified to internationally recognized schemes to determine competency (e.g., PCN, CSWIP, ASNT) requirements
