Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and continuously improve a structured approach to monitoring global and regional environmental, material, and product regulations.
  • •Assess applicability and impact of new and evolving requirements across products, technologies, markets, and lifecycle stages.
  • •Translate complex legal and technical obligations into clear company requirements, regulatory positions, and practical guidance.
  • •Design and manage the end-to-end regulatory lifecycle, including gap identification, remediation, verification, and closure.
  • •Set up governance structures and lead cross-functional gap assessments and remediation programs with clear ownership, prioritization, risk management, and progress tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •At least a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, materials science, engineering, law, regulatory studies, or a related discipline.
  • •10+ years of progressive experience in product stewardship, environmental compliance, sustainability, regulatory affairs, quality, or a related area in a regulated, product-based industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS restrictions, Ecodesign, and Right to Repair, ideally across multiple regions.
  • •Senior-level experience establishing capabilities, processes, and governance, and leading through influence in complex, global organizations.
  • •Ability to translate legal and technical requirements into practical direction and collaborate across R&D, Quality/Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sustainability, and Data/IT.
