Job Summary

Support strategic research, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery for the Forum’s Greater China priorities, with a focus on Innovators Communities. Conduct desk research and horizon scanning, help with outreach and agenda development, and produce communications and knowledge products like briefing notes and presentations. Assist with building the community pipeline and planning community events, while providing flexible support for projects aligned to regional and global agendas.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct structured desk research and horizon scanning on global and China-specific developments relevant to the Forum’s agenda.
•Support stakeholder engagement across Beijing Office priority areas, contributing to outreach, agenda development, and follow-up.
•Develop communications and knowledge products, including talking points, briefing notes, presentations, meeting summaries, and stakeholder profiles.
•Support Innovators Communities building in Greater China by identifying and assessing potential members and maintaining the membership pipeline.
•Provide flexible support to the development and execution of projects aligned with the Forum’s regional and global agendas.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, business, international relations, public policy, communications, technology, or a related field.
•1–3 years of professional or research experience is a plus.
•Strong understanding of and interest in the start-up, innovation and technology landscape in Greater China and key ecosystem stakeholders.
•Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills to synthesize information and manage multiple workstreams.
•Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
