Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble bellows seals to support assembly for the Seals department using prints and method/operator instructions.
  • •Set up and operate manufacturing equipment (small lathes, automatic machines, drill presses, lapping machines, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, and marking).
  • •Perform secondary machining operations and general assembly work (turning, boring, chamfering, counterboring).
  • •Prepare/sandblast components, support spot welding setup by others, and machine fixtures/jaws/plugs while maintaining tooling (including resetting dull tooling).
  • •Run specified hydraulic tests, perform required first-piece checks, repair parts as directed by the Supervisor, and report defective material or unusual conditions.

  • •Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Work from prints, method sheets, operation sheets, specification sheets, sketches, and/or verbal instructions to produce parts to acceptable quality and quantity levels.
  • •Set up and operate small lathes, automatic machines, drill presses, lapping machines, pneumatic drill presses, hydraulic presses, and marking.
  • •Perform secondary machining operations including turning, boring, chamfering, counterboring, and general assembly work.
