Job Summary

Support the residential solar installation pipeline by performing site assessments before installation and inspections after installation. Follow dynamic intraday schedules across multiple job sites to collect measurements and data, verify roof and electrical service panel conditions, and ensure installed systems match approved plans. Coordinate with install teams, project managers, AHJ, and customers to resolve inspection readiness issues and schedule inspections, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
•Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels using standardized tools and protocols.
•Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required.
•Submit survey data using mobile field tools and provide documentation verifying inspection readiness.
•Perform post-installation inspection visits, confirm installations match approved plans and standards, and coordinate with AHJ and customers to schedule inspections.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.28 - 36.37

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience (e.g., reading blueprints/plans, using tools/equipment, testing wiring/circuitry) is helpful; minimum one year of field construction experience preferred.
•Comfortable working on roofs using ladders and working in tight or elevated spaces.
•Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring devices, and mobile technology.
•OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record able to pass a driving background check.
