Lead a growing team of all-source investigators tackling scams, romance fraud, and pig butchering syndicates. You’ll run the operational flywheel from legal process to on-/off-chain data fusion and high-volume targeting, ensuring work-product quality and defensible outputs. Manage performance, hire and onboard investigators, coordinate with engineering, legal, and partner stakeholders, and step in during surge periods—without carrying a personal caseload.

Key Responsibilities

•Run the team of 5–15+ all-source investigators, including 1:1s, performance pulses, career-pathing, priority-to-workload translation, and escalation.
•Manage operational cadence and throughput across legal process, on-chain/off-chain fusion, and high-volume targeting.
•Ensure work-product quality as the QC layer for target packages, attribution write-ups, and legal-process returns.
•Hire and develop investigators, including sourcing alongside the recruiter, running interview loops, and owning end-to-end onboarding.
•Partner with engineering, legal, and external partners to translate outcomes outward and step in during surge periods without owning a caseload.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 230,000 annually

•People management experience (around 3+ years), including examples of accelerating high performers and addressing performance gaps.
•Operator mindset: take a body of information and drive it to real-world outcomes, not just produce reports.
•Experience producing or supervising work held to external standards (e.g., adjudicated by DOJ/OFAC or defensible in court).
•Illicit-finance investigative background, including complex investigations involving scams, fraud, sanctions, extortion, or money laundering.
•Required AI fluency—use AI to accelerate intelligence work and set team standards for where AI improves outcomes.
