Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise the 3rd shift manufacturing team, coordinating production activities and adjusting schedules to meet operational needs.
  • •Manage workforce planning, labor utilization, capacity/load control, and production flow to achieve budgeted plan and targets.
  • •Improve production capabilities through performance management, planning/utilization of human and capital resources, and problem-solving with other functional areas.
  • •Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S activities, housekeeping, waste reduction programs, and frequent business audits to ensure SOP compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • •4+ years of manufacturing operations experience, preferably in a chemical plant working with hazardous materials and reactive chemistry.
  • •Experience directly or indirectly leading employees; ability to manage, coach, and develop a diverse team.
  • •Ability to anticipate problems, make decisions, and take appropriate action.
  • •Experience with lean manufacturing programs including Kaizen events, 5S, standard work, and waste reduction; ISO 9000/14001 experience preferred.
