Lead day-to-day management of corporate events within Direct Custody and Clearing Corporate Actions, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing, while driving service quality, risk controls, and cross-training to support business objectives in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Set an example in delivering customer-driven service by implementing effective control mechanisms and monitoring service quality of the section
•Proactively identify and resolve problem situations to maximize customer satisfaction and escalate where necessary
•Review contingency requirements periodically and invoke appropriate risk mitigation measures; conduct operational risk assessment
•Plan for cross-training and manage global contingency requirements to balance resources and operational needs
•Provide coaching and support to team members on operational activities; ensure adherence to group policies and standards and drive process improvements

Key Requirements

•A post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline; higher qualification not a bar but aspirational for the position
•Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing individuals and managing capacity and MI reporting
•Possess relevant Securities background and knowledge with at least 3 years of Securities experience with exposure to Corporate Actions
•Ability to speak and understand English fluently; good written and verbal communication skills; conversational
•Ability to read, write, understand Mandarin and Cantonese fluently is highly desirable and beneficial
