Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and interpret assembly procedures, schematics, BOMs, mechanical drawings, and alternate parts lists to support avionics hardware work.
  • •Design and build test systems, electromechanical assemblies, engineering enclosures, and test fixtures.
  • •Design and build electrical harnessing for acceptance test, qualification of flight avionics, and HITL tables.
  • •Set up and execute qualification test campaigns by running software, interpreting test reports, and diagnosing failures.
  • •Perform harness rework and PCBA rework/revision changes, including repairs and documentation package development from scratch.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or 2+ years of electronics experience troubleshooting test systems and/or avionics hardware.
  • •2+ years of manufacturing experience using electronics equipment and basic mechanical/electronics hand tools.
  • •Experience designing PCBAs in Altium Designer and using schematics/PCBA layouts to troubleshoot.
  • •Experience with soldering/desoldering (including QFN/leadless), PCBAs rework/modification, and trace/component rework techniques.
  • •Ability to work overtime/weekends as needed, lift up to 25 lbs unassisted, and travel up to 10%.
