Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full lifecycle of on-prem and Azure cloud hosting services (compute, storage, virtualisation, backup, and platform services).
  • •Define and maintain the hosting service strategy, roadmap, and service catalogue entries, ensuring performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency targets are met.
  • •Oversee datacentre hosting platforms (VMware/Hyper-V, physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, and backup infrastructure) and proactively manage capacity, resilience, patching, firmware updates, and hardware lifecycle upgrades.
  • •Govern Azure landing zones and cloud governance (resource groups, compute, storage, networking, PaaS services, Azure Policy compliance, RBAC, tagging, and security baselines) and remediate security recommendations.
  • •Act as the authority during major incidents, manage vendor/MSP relationships and SLAs, run service reviews, drive automation to eliminate configuration drift, and maintain operational documentation/runbooks for hosting services.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • •5–8+ years working in infrastructure, systems engineering, or hosting operations, with strong experience in VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation
  • •Hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, RBAC, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, resource groups, governance)
  • •Experience managing on-prem and cloud platform hygiene (patching, firmware updates, configuration baselines, monitoring, alerting, capacity forecasting)
  • •Experience owning a technical service end to end in an ITIL-aligned environment, including incident/problem/change/request processes and leading post-incident reviews
