Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build analog circuits for analog and mixed-signal IPs in advanced process nodes, including floorplan and circuit design activities.
  • •Extract chip parameters and simulate analog behavior models to validate circuit performance.
  • •Create and execute test plans to verify designs against circuit and block microarchitecture specifications, then evaluate results.
  • •Verify functionality and optimize circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals, including leakage reduction.
  • •Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to address performance and circuit design issues and improve robustness and electrical capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or PhD with experience in Electrical Engineering or a STEM-related degree, plus analog and mixed-signal circuit design experience.
  • •1+ years of school experience or knowledge in schematic entry tools, IC layout, and SPICE simulation.
  • •Design mixed-signal circuits including DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, filters, bias circuits, regulators, and other analog circuits.
  • •Preferred: knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and scripting (TCL, Perl, C, Python or similar).
  • •Preferred: analog circuit design conventions and techniques to reduce design risk.
