Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver orders to customers’ doors while representing Waitrose & Partners and ensuring outstanding service.
  • •Handle unexpected situations using a flexible approach and initiative.
  • •Manage delivery/handling of age-restricted items in line with requirements.
  • •When not out driving, assist in-store with stock control and cashiering tasks, including lifting heavy products.
  • •Follow health & safety expectations and complete required pre-employment checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Be 18 years old or over and able to handle deliveries of age-restricted items.
  • •Hold a full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points (licence check included).
  • •Have a good appreciation of health & safety and be willing to complete a driving assessment.
  • •Pass additional suitability checks, including a security check and a DBS check carried out via a third party.
  • •Previous experience in a driving role and knowledge of chilled vehicles are desirable.
