Job Summary

Lead biotech operations to accelerate AI-enabled drug discovery and development. You’ll identify where AI can most meaningfully speed life sciences research, translate scientific ideas into concrete, testable plans, and drive them from concept to results with speed and ownership. Partner across research, product, and go-to-market to shape strategy, work hands-on with Claude and Claude Science, and communicate scientific insights clearly to both technical and business audiences.

•Identify and prioritize where AI can most meaningfully accelerate life sciences research.
•Turn scientific ideas into well-scoped efforts and drive them to completion with speed and ownership.
•Translate ambiguous scientific questions into structured, testable plans with clear milestones.
•Work hands-on with Claude and Claude Science to explore hypotheses, design and analyze research, and demonstrate new capabilities for scientists.
•Partner across research, product, and go-to-market and serve as a trusted scientific voice with clear communication to technical and business audiences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 300,000 - 320,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong scientific and operating background with experience taking ideas from concept to results in a company setting (MD/PhD not required).
•Experience in a multidisciplinary role at a high-growth life sciences company or a leading science-focused investment/venture firm.
•Experience founding or joining as a founding team member of a biotechnology startup.
•Excellent scientific judgment and entrepreneurial instinct, with a track record of identifying impactful opportunities early.
•Ability to execute independently—senior enough for real judgment and hands-on enough to build things yourself.
